Narek Gururyan Transferred to an 8-Person Prison Cell
Narek Gururyan, a suspect in the assault and murder case that took place in the city of Karaganda, Kazakhstan, is reportedly in normal condition following a meeting with his lawyer today. This information was provided by a source to SHANTNEWS.am.
"His condition is normal, everything is fine. He has been transferred to a general cell; previously, he was in solitary confinement, and now there are eight people in that cell. We had submitted a request because Narek's previous cell was damp, located in the basement, and he was experiencing back pain, which is why he was moved," the source told the media outlet.
Gururyan's lawyer is preparing to appeal the decision to extend his client's detention period by three months. The application is currently being drafted and is likely to be submitted to the court tomorrow.
