Pashinyan Provides Negative Conclusion on Mher Yenokyan's Plea for Clemency
The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, has issued a negative conclusion regarding the request for clemency for Mher Yenokyan, who is serving a life sentence for murder. This was reported by Aysor.am, citing its sources.
"The conclusion is negative," said a source associated with the news outlet.
Earlier, in response to a query from Aysor.am, the government had stated that Pashinyan had presented his position on Yenokyan's clemency request to the President of Armenia. Today, the President's office received several clemency petitions from various individuals, which the Prime Minister recommended, and the relevant decree was signed without objections.
There has not yet been confirmation or denial from Yenokyan or the relatives of Agajanov regarding this information.
