Samson Grigoryan: I Need to Apply for Military Expertise for These
Samson Grigoryan, who defends the interests of traders, wrote on his Facebook page:
“These are power blocks for phones, laptops, and LED lights. In a few days, I need to clear these through customs. It turns out that I need to apply for military expertise to obtain a conclusion stating that these do not have military significance, meaning they are not weapons of mass destruction. At one point, it was simply stated that they were for civilian purposes, and that was it, but now the broker informed me that they are once again requiring expertise. To get a response in 2 days, I need to pay 48,000 drams for each HS code. And this is every time I carry out imports, and this is without even inspecting the goods, all while even a child's laughter could come into play.
I kindly request clarification from the State Revenue Committee, without referencing the EAEU, as it is not the EAEU that should pull us out of this swamp.”
