Car Accident in Yerevan: One Vehicle Knocks Down Traffic Light

Today, January 20, a car accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 1:00 PM, a collision took place at the intersection of Ulneci and Aharonian streets involving a Mercedes with license plate 34 ZN 911 and a VAZ-2121 with license plate 11 LO 147.

According to Shamshyan.com, fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries as a result of the accident. However, the VAZ vehicle veered off the traffic lane and knocked down the traffic light regulating the intersection. Officers of the Road Police, namely Lieutenant Javakhyan Yeranosyan and Sergeant Benik Arzumanian, arrived at the scene.

Investigative materials regarding the incident are being prepared. According to information from a photojournalist, the driver of the VAZ vehicle was identified as a young man, while the driver of the Mercedes is of Iranian-Armenian descent.
