Aram Harutyunyan Does Not Accept the Charges Against Him

Former Minister of Environment Aram Harutyunyan (Bulki Aram) does not accept the charges brought against him. This was stated by Harutyunyan's lawyer, Hunan Ter-Vardanian, in an interview with LURER.com.

According to the lawyer, the Special Investigation Service discussed the issue of detaining Harutyunyan yesterday evening at the general jurisdiction court of Yerevan in the Avan and Nor Nork administrative districts, and a final decision will be announced today between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM.

When asked whether the defense would file a motion to apply bail as a preventive measure for Aram Harutyunyan, the lawyer noted that they would not be filing such a motion.

In response to our repeated question about whether Harutyunyan is currently in the country or not, his lawyer Hunan Ter-Vardanian stated, “I cannot answer that question.”

It should be noted that according to circulating rumors, Aram Harutyunyan is not in Armenia.

Recall that the Special Investigation Service released a statement yesterday indicating that former MP and Minister of Environment Aram Harutyunyan has been involved as a suspect for receiving bribes and money laundering.
