Change in Tax Obligations for Importing Two or More Vehicles, Says David Ananyan
“The State Revenue Committee has presented its perspective to the government regarding changes in tax obligations when importing two or more vehicles. We have put forward two proposals and will publish the decision shortly,” said the head of the State Revenue Committee, David Ananyan, at a press conference today.
He reminded that those engaged in the car business were holding protests and urging legislative changes to eliminate their tax obligations imposed after July 1, 2018. These individuals submitted their proposals, which were the basis for creating two options that were presented to the government.
Ananyan noted, “As a result of discussions held with Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, two options were put forward to address the raised issues, but I will not disclose them just yet. In the coming days, the proposals will be presented, and the change will also have retroactive effect.”
