Tragic Car Accident in Syunik: There are Fatalities and Injuries

On December 13, a significant and tragic car accident occurred in the Syunik region. Around 15:30, vehicles collided on the 175th km section of the Yerevan-Meghri highway, involving an Opel car with the license plate 35 XT 407 and a Skania bus with the license plate 16 E 482 -10.

According to shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, 3 individuals have died on the spot, while several others have been transported with injuries to the military hospital in Agitu, Sisian.

Civilians were the first to assist the injured, while the deceased were extracted from the vehicle by rescuers and road police.

The police and investigative department are working to identify the drivers, deceased, and injured individuals.
