Former Head of the March 1 Investigation Team Released from Detention
The Court of Appeals of Armenia has decided to revoke the detention order imposed by the Yerevan court on Vahagn Harutyunyan, the former head of the March 1 investigation team, and he is now free. This was reported by Aysor.am, citing his lawyer Mihran Poghosyan.
The lawyer stated that they have not yet received the court's decision and therefore cannot disclose the basis on which his client was released from detention. Nonetheless, he positively assessed the court's ruling.
It is worth recalling that the Special Investigation Service accused Vahagn Harutyunyan of organizing the falsification of evidence in relation to a particularly serious criminal case regarding the events of March 1.
