Defense Ministry Denies Report of Soldier's Suicide Attempt

The Armenian Ministry of Defense has refuted reports that a soldier of the Armed Forces attempted suicide.

"The information is not true. There is no such soldier in the RA Armed Forces," stated Samvel Asatryan, head of the information department of the General Staff of the RA Armed Forces, in a conversation with NEWS.am.

Previously, reports circulated that a 26-year-old soldier, Vardan Sh., attempted to take his own life using a hunting rifle.
