VIDEO: 4 Dead, 43 Injured in Ankara High-Speed Train Crash

A passenger train in Ankara collided with a freight train. The impact was so severe that one of the passenger carriages fell onto a pedestrian bridge, which subsequently collapsed.

Current reports indicate that there are 4 fatalities and 43 injuries. It is feared that the number of casualties and injuries may rise.

The accident occurred at 6:30 AM local time. At the time of the crash, the train was traveling at a speed of 80-90 km/h. Numerous rescue and emergency response teams continue to operate at the scene.
