Who is Vanetsyan: Levon Barseghyan Denied Entry to Gyumri City Hall

Levon Barseghyan, a member of the Gyumri City Council, was denied entry to the City Hall, a situation he expressed dissatisfaction about on his Facebook page.

“A young man named Hovhannes Karapetyan, who introduced himself as a member of the Prime Minister's security service, from the NSS, did not allow me to enter the Gyumri City Hall. I explained that I am a council member, and this building houses the council's seat, where I have the legal right to enter freely.

He said there is a government meeting, and my name is not on the list. I explained that I am not going to the meeting; I am going to our seat. The young man was unyielding. Now, who is Vanetsyan after this? Just a regular bureaucrat. He was before too.

I wonder if they have allowed the mayor inside,” wrote Levon Barseghyan.

It should be noted that a government off-site meeting is currently taking place at the Gyumri City Hall in connection with the 30th anniversary of the earthquake.
