Pashinyan to Attend Eurasian Economic Union Summit in St. Petersburg on December 6
The acting Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, is set to travel to St. Petersburg on December 6. On that day, the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council meeting will take place; however, it has previously been reported that the issue of the Council's Secretary General will not be decided during this meeting.
Pashinyan spoke about this during a campaign event in Masis.
"Yesterday, I provided a comment regarding the CSTO summit scheduled for December 6, but there was a slight misunderstanding regarding my potential trip to St. Petersburg. I stated yesterday that the President of Russia offered me, during a phone conversation, to postpone the CSTO summit scheduled for December 6 until we discuss this matter in working order. Nevertheless, we have the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council meeting on December 6, which will be held in St. Petersburg, and I will participate in that meeting," he clarified.
