Investigation Launched into Fatal Accident at ZPMC

An investigation has been initiated regarding the accident at ZPMC that resulted in the death of a 23-year-old driver. According to Article 342, Part 2 of the Criminal Code (violations of traffic safety regulations or rules ensuring the safety of road traffic or vehicle operation), a criminal case has been opened. Earlier, it was reported that a vehicle transporting ore at ZPMC overturned, resulting in the driver's death. This was stated by the Zangezur Copper Molybdenum Combine. The incident occurred on August 30 at around 14:00 in the open-pit area of the company. Preliminary information indicates that the ore transportation vehicle overturned, leading to the driver's fatality.

The relevant state authorities have been promptly informed about the incident. The circumstances and causes of the accident are under investigation.
