Can the Newborn Found in Halabyan Be Adopted? Clarification from the Ministry

The adoption process is complex, and it cannot be carried out solely based on desire or other circumstances. In response to a question from "Factinfo" regarding the possibility of adopting a newborn found under iron sheets, Nver Kostanyan, the press secretary of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia, explained that the adoption process is not easy and cannot be organized merely out of desire or any other circumstance.

It is worth noting that on August 10, around 20:40, a newborn baby girl was found under iron sheets at the playground of Halabyan 13 building. The necessary medical assistance was provided on-site, and the umbilical cord was tied, after which she was transferred to the Republican Institute of Reproductive Health, Perinatology, Obstetrics and Gynecology in Yerevan. Currently, there is no threat to the baby's life.
