Fire in P'roshyan Community: Emergency Situations Ministry Responds

On August 10 at 14:42, a call was received at the Ministry of Emergency Situations' 112 operational management center reporting that grass and trees were burning in the P'roshyan community of Kotayk Province.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, three firefighting units from the Emergency Situations Department's Yerevan and regional rescue administrations were dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that approximately 7,000 square meters of land was on fire, along with about 30 cubic meters of accumulated old tires; fruit trees were also heat-damaged. The fire was contained by 15:46.
