Russia Under Massive Drone Attack: 456 Drones Shot Down

Russia's several regions have been subjected to a massive drone attack during the night. According to Russian sources, hundreds of drones were launched in various directions.

Residents of Nizhnekamsk in Tatarstan have released videos of the sounds of explosions and smoke rising over the city. Ukrainian monitoring projects report that there was also an attack on the local oil refinery.

The head of the Rostov region, Yury Sliusarev, reported that over 70 drones were destroyed in the region's skies overnight. According to Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin, at least 18 drones were launched towards the city. Vladislav Shapsha, the head of the Kaluga region, reported the destruction of another 16 drones.

Drone activities have also been reported in Sevastopol. The regional leader, Mikhail Razvojaev, stated that 15 drones were registered. One of the strikes caused a forest fire near the Inzhir beach, and residents in the area are being evacuated.

The authorities of Chuvashia have also confirmed a drone attack, reporting that one drone was shot down there.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, a total of 456 Ukrainian drones were destroyed by air defense forces overnight.
