Rescue Workers Bring Citizen Safely to Shore
On August 10, a call was received by the Gegharkunik regional operational management center, reporting that a citizen was unable to return to shore while paddleboarding at the beach near the "Sevan Startup Summit" due to strong winds. Rescue assistance was needed.
A team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue department, along with a special rescue group from the Center for Special Rescue Operations, was dispatched to the scene.
Rescuers located the citizen approximately 1.5 kilometers from the shore and safely brought him back to land.
