4 Billion Dollar Investment: Firebird's Artificial Intelligence Center Opens in Hrazdan

The Firebird Company’s artificial intelligence center has opened in Hrazdan, signaling a new phase for the development of the AI sector in Armenia, according to the U.S. Embassy in Armenia.

Attending the center's opening were Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, U.S. Chargé d'Affaires David Allen, and the leadership of Firebird Company.

The U.S. Embassy reports that the program involves a planned investment of $4 billion, bringing advanced American technologies and AI infrastructure to Armenia. This investment will enable Armenia to position itself as a regional hub for data centers, cloud computing, and AI innovation.

David Allen emphasized that the combination of American and Armenian talent and innovation could create new opportunities for economic growth and technological advancement.

The embassy also highlighted that the opening of the center exemplifies the growing partnership between Armenia and the U.S. It is connected to the agreements reached in Washington on August 8, which included the signing of three memoranda of understanding, one of which pertains to cooperation in artificial intelligence and semiconductors.
