VIDEO: You Are 'Milking' Threats Instead of Resolving Them, Rubinyan to Opposition

The Speaker of the National Assembly, Ruben Rubinyan, in response to Armenia faction member Kristine Vardanyan, stated that Armenia's primary threats come from Azerbaijan due to non-institutionalized peace, and from Turkey due to the closed border and lack of diplomatic relations.

He emphasized that the difference between the government and the opposition is that the government seeks to eliminate these threats, while the opposition uses them for political purposes.

"We see a threat and try to find a solution. You see a threat and decide to 'milk' it. The history of the alliance since 1920 has been a history of 'milking' threats," Rubinyan declared.

He also called on the opposition to clearly answer whether Russia poses a threat to Armenia.
