Prime Minister Threatened to Kill Me: Kocharian
In normal countries, normal governments strive to set an example of what the political process and campaign should look like. This was stated by Armenia's second President Robert Kocharian during the campaign of the "Armenia" alliance, referring to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's rhetoric.
“And what do we see in Armenia? It is probably the only country, or one of the few, where the government is not trying to achieve the best standards but is instead implementing the worst standards — arrogance, fake news, and the manner in which they communicate with people, insult them, threaten them. Just two or three days ago, the Prime Minister threatened that he would kill me and two other leaders of opposition forces,” he said.
Kocharian also addressed one of the most important points of the "Armenia" alliance — security. “The government is creating a situation where Armenia's security is dependent on one person, specifically, Ilham Aliyev. If we believe that the president of Azerbaijan is staying up day and night thinking about our security, we are gravely mistaken,” emphasized Armenia's second President Robert Kocharian.
