Cargo Dragon Spacecraft Arrives at International Space Station
The Cargo Dragon spacecraft, produced by SpaceX, has successfully arrived at the International Space Station (ISS). The official information about the completion of the docking process was released by SpaceX, confirming the arrival of the vessel on its social media pages.
The launch of the automated spacecraft took place on Saturday from a spaceport in Florida, USA. The flight and subsequent movement toward the orbital station proceeded according to the established schedule.
As part of this mission, the spacecraft delivered approximately three tons of cargo for the ISS crew. The arrived payload includes food necessary for the astronauts' life support, as well as specialized equipment for scientific experiments carried out at the station.
In particular, the new equipment will facilitate a series of studies in orbit related to the development of treatment methods for osteoporosis and the investigation of space weather impacts.
