Peskov Details Whether Ceasefire Will Be Extended
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov has announced that no negotiations have taken place regarding the extension of the temporary ceasefire established between Russia and Ukraine.
The press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov, stated that the temporary ceasefire agreement reached between the parties is only in effect on May 9, 10, and 11. He indicated that there have been no discussions on extending this regime.
Meanwhile, reports have emerged indicating that the parties are planning to carry out a large-scale exchange of prisoners, utilizing a format of “1000 for 1000.”
