Fico to Convey Zelensky's Message to Putin, Slovakia's Foreign Ministry

Slovakia's Deputy Foreign Minister Rastislav Káčer has announced that Prime Minister Robert Fico may present a message from Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky to Russian President Vladimir Putin during his visit to Moscow on May 9.

During a committee meeting of the National Council, Rastislav Káčer indicated that Robert Fico will hold a meeting with the Russian president, during which he will be able to convey messages from the Ukrainian president, as he had communicated with him twice last week.

According to the deputy minister, the Prime Minister of Slovakia will also have the opportunity to receive valuable information from the Russian president regarding the assessment of efforts aimed at ceasing the conflict.

Slovakia’s Prime Minister will mark the anniversary of the end of World War II at several locations. During his visit to Moscow, Fico will lay flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and he plans to visit France in June. On May 7, the Prime Minister already visited the former Dachau concentration camp in Germany.

According to the Kremlin's press service, seven foreign delegations are expected to arrive in Moscow on May 9 in connection with Victory Day.
