Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has agreed to declare a ceasefire in honor of the Easter holiday and signed the corresponding decree.
“Ukraine has repeatedly stated that it is ready for mirror actions. This year, we have proposed to declare a ceasefire during the Easter holidays, and we will act accordingly,” he wrote on his Telegram channel.
Zelensky emphasized that people should be able to celebrate Easter without threats and witness real progress toward peace.
