Powerful Earthquake in Turkey Felt in Yerevan

On April 4, the seismic network of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia registered a magnitude 5.2 earthquake 40 kilometers north of Van, Turkey.

The seismic network reported that the earthquake occurred at geographical coordinates of 38.83°N latitude and 43.54°E longitude, with a depth of 7 kilometers. The intensity of the tremors in the epicentral zone reached 7 on the Richter scale.
