Massive Protests in Iraq Against the US and Israel
Thousands of citizens have gathered in the capital of Iraq, Baghdad, to protest against the strikes carried out by the US and Israel on Iran. The demonstration took place in the city center at Tahrir Square.
The protesters carried Iraqi flags and shouted anti-American and anti-Israeli slogans, demanding an establishment of peace in the Middle East. The gathering saw a large number of participants.
According to local media reports, the protest actions have been organized not only in Baghdad but also in more than ten provinces across Iraq. These actions were initiated following the call of influential Shia political figure Muqtada al-Sadr.
It has been noted that the protests are aimed at addressing the rising tensions in the region and expressing the population's dissatisfaction with recent developments.
