Numerous Healthcare Workers Already Seeing Salary Increases: Anahit Avanesyan
The Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan addressed the issue of delays in healthcare workers’ salaries during a conversation with journalists. "Within the framework of health insurance, the entire compensation logic has changed. Previously, we had a fixed salary regardless of how many patients a doctor would accept or what work they would perform. Now, the logic of insurance is that we are moving away from a mechanism that does not take into account the workload and flow, and we are transitioning to case-based compensation. During this transition, we had certain delays in case registrations in January and February, which have been rectified, and by March, thousands of healthcare workers are seeing increases in their salaries," the minister added, also discussing existing problems.
