Iran's Foreign Ministry Issues New Statement Regarding Supreme Leader Khamenei
The Supreme Leader of Iran, Mojtaba Khamenei, has only sustained minor injuries and is now in full health. This was stated by Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in an interview with Al Jazeera.
According to him, reports indicate that Khamenei's injuries were not serious, and he continues to monitor the situation in the country. The minister also emphasized that the governing system is functioning without disruptions.
At the same time, the Pentagon had reported that Khamenei could have suffered severe injuries and may even be deceased. U.S. President Donald Trump doubted whether Khamenei was still alive.
Earlier, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghaei confirmed that the Supreme Leader had sustained injuries, but his condition is deemed satisfactory. Despite his absence from public view, Khamenei had made an official statement on March 12, not ruling out the possibility of opening new directions in the conflict against the U.S. and Israel.
