Israel to Act Jointly with Washington Against Iran, Reports Say
Israeli circles believe that the ongoing negotiations surrounding Iran may end unsuccessfully. This was reported by Israel's Channel 12, citing its sources.
According to the source, some Israeli officials are convinced that U.S. President Donald Trump and several senior American representatives are considering the option of striking Iran. It is noted that for Washington, it is crucial for the negotiation process to conclude in order for a potential military operation to be preceded by a diplomatic phase, which can be perceived as ensuring legitimacy.
Sources indicate that high-level consultations taking place in Israel are focused on scenarios for a possible preemptive strike. At the same time, it is mentioned that Tel Aviv is taking into account the probability that, depending on the U.S. president's decision, Israel will act jointly with Washington.
