Annual Check-Ups Will Become Mandatory Over Time: Avanesyan
Citizens benefiting from universal health insurance can undergo check-ups once a year. The Ministry of Health encourages this step. In a conversation with journalists, Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan stated that this will become mandatory over time.
“Annual check-ups will become mandatory over time. We are also taking steps to ensure the convenience of undergoing annual check-ups. Soon, tools will be available in ArMed. We are currently in the testing phase, during which an online annual check-up questionnaire will be introduced. Individuals will fill out this questionnaire, and their health risk directions will be calculated, after which they will receive advice on much more specific examinations and further steps,” the Minister said.
