Ukraine is Hungary's Enemy: Orban
The Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orban, has declared that Ukraine has a hostile stance towards Budapest due to its demands regarding energy matters.
Orban made a harsh statement regarding Ukraine, emphasizing that Kyiv's position contradicts Hungary's national interests. According to him, Ukraine constantly demands Brussels to restrict EU member states' access to Russian energy sources.
“Kyiv continuously asks that EU members be deprived of Russian energy resources. Whoever says this is Hungary’s enemy. Therefore, Ukraine is our enemy,” Orban stated.
The Prime Minister did not elaborate on what further actions might follow this statement; however, it underscores the deep disagreements between Budapest and Kyiv, particularly on energy policy issues.
