Karekin II Meets with Priests Who Stopped Serving in the Armed Forces
His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, has met with the chaplains whose service in the Armed Forces of Armenia was suspended from February 1, as previously reported.

“His Holiness has expressed his appreciation and paternal blessings to the spiritual fathers, reflecting with satisfaction on their dedicated service in fostering a spiritually and morally sound environment in the Armenian Army, and in strengthening the faith of soldiers, their love for the homeland, and their spirit of combat,” the Mother See said.
During the meeting, the Catholicos of All Armenians also made new appointments for spiritual servants, urging the chaplains to continue their pastoral mission with the same dedication and responsibility in new places of service,” the report adds.
