Iran to Strike US Military Bases: Araqchi
Iran is threatening to strike US military bases located in the Persian Gulf region if Washington resorts to military action. This was stated by Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi in an interview with Al Jazeera.
According to him, Tehran has no intention of discussing its missile program, neither now nor in the future, considering it a matter related to the country's defense. The minister emphasized that this topic is off the negotiating agenda.
Araqchi also stated that Iran rules out the export of enriched uranium from the country, stressing that this component of the nuclear program cannot be a subject of compromise.
Regarding negotiations with the US, the Iranian Foreign Minister said that a specific date for the second round has not yet been determined, but both Washington and Tehran are willing to conduct it in the near future. Earlier, it was reported about the US President's statement that the main condition for negotiations is that Iran does not possess nuclear weapons.
