Police Officer Who Used Violence Placed Under House Arrest
A police officer who used violence against a citizen has been placed under house arrest as a precautionary measure. This was reported to Auroranews by the spokesperson for the Investigative Committee, Kima Avdalyan.
Earlier, the office of the Prosecutor General of Armenia announced that a criminal case had been initiated on February 4 regarding the incident. On the same day, a public criminal prosecution was launched against Hayk Hakobyan under the first part of Article 450 of the Criminal Code.
