Tri-party agreements provide opportunity to solve transportation issues: Lavrov
The tri-party agreements signed between Armenia, Russia, and Azerbaijan allow for the resolution of transportation issues in the South Caucasus. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during a meeting with the President of the National Assembly of Armenia, Alen Simonyan.
All agreements reached at the level of the Presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of Armenia between 2020-2022, according to Lavrov, remain relevant primarily for addressing economic, transportation, and logistical challenges in the region.
He noted that Armenia should gain significant advantages from this process, and it is essential to remove all existing obstacles for the normal functioning of the region. Lavrov emphasized that Moscow is ready for this.
