Man Who Robbed the Zoravor Surb Astvatsatsin Church Identified
The community police of Kentron have identified the man who committed theft at the Zoravor Surb Astvatsatsin Church. Recently, a video circulated online showing a man stealing a candle holder from the altar of the church in Yerevan.
Through measures taken by the community police, it was determined that the theft was committed by a 50-year-old man registered at Ulnecu Street in the capital. He was discovered on the morning of February 5 and taken to the Kentron community police department. The stolen item has been recovered.
The man has been arrested and presented to the investigative body. Circumstances surrounding the incident are being clarified.
