TRIPP is a Step Towards Establishing Peace in the Region, Says White House Representative
Donald Trump recognizes the importance of Central Asia, particularly from the perspective of global interconnectedness. This was stated by Sergio Gore, the U.S. Ambassador to India and Special Representative for South and Central Asian Affairs, during a business forum held in Bishkek.
According to Gore, since the historic summit in Washington between Armenia and Azerbaijan on August 8, the American side has been promoting the TRIPP project. “It will help ensure smooth transit connectivity from Central Asia through the South Caucasus to the West,” the ambassador elaborated. He noted that this is a historic step towards building strong, interconnected economies and establishing peace in the region.
