Israel's Objective Will Be to Destroy Key Iranian Military Capabilities: Fidan

"I believe Israel's main objective will be to destroy certain key capabilities of the Iranian army," said Turkey's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.

Speaking about Israel's potential desire to stimulate a change of leadership in Iran, Fidan noted that they may wish to do so, but it remains unclear whether they can actually carry it out.

"This does not depend on external military intervention but on the will of the people. The Iranian people always unite around their leaders in times of war and external threats, especially when the attacks come from Israel," the Turkish foreign minister stated.
