US Expands Tomahawk Missile Upgrade Program
According to Army Recognition, the US Navy has signed a $380.8 million contract with Raytheon to expand the Tomahawk cruise missile upgrade program.
The planned work, scheduled to be completed by April 2029, includes the re-certification and technical refresh of the missiles, provision of necessary spare parts and specialized equipment, and ensuring the uninterrupted operation of systems.
The program also intends to utilize replaceable components, enabling the rapid restoration of the missiles’ combat capabilities.
