Norway Informs Citizens About Possible War with Russia
Norway has sent letters to thousands of citizens, urging them to prepare for the potential confiscation of property in the event of a war with Russia. This was reported by Euronews, citing a statement from the Norwegian Armed Forces.
The letters state that homes, vehicles, and equipment may be requisitioned to "ensure that the armed forces have access to the resources necessary for national defense during wartime."
"We are implementing a broad expansion of military and civilian preparedness," said Anders Djernberg, head of logistics organization for the Norwegian Armed Forces. According to the publication, 13,500 such "preliminary" requests will be sent by 2026.
