Russia and Ukraine Reach Ceasefire Agreement at Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant
Moscow and Kyiv have reached an agreement on a ceasefire at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP), facilitated by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). This agreement is necessary to enable urgent repairs of the damaged power transmission lines that supply the plant.
The situation around the nuclear facility remains extremely tense due to ongoing attacks on infrastructure by Ukraine. As the largest nuclear power plant in Europe, it continues to be a key topic in the negotiations over the resolution of the Ukrainian conflict.
