No Other Stakeholders Should Be In TRIP’s Framework: Pashinyan

My position is that no other stakeholders should be in TRIP. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a press briefing, according to Lurer.

“However, TRIP itself touches upon other infrastructures. It is not the case that all the roads and railways of Armenia and the world are part of TRIP. When we talk about the Transcaspian railway, there are numerous railways, gas pipelines, oil pipelines, and electricity exports involved; there are production facilities, and various investors can participate in all these infrastructures.

In the case of Russia, at this stage, we ask our Russian partners to restore the Akhurik section and the Yeraskh section as a matter of urgency, and also to restore the railway infrastructure in Ijevan. Please note that TRIP is an investment program, very important, pivotal, but it is an investment program between Armenia and the USA. However, many stakeholders have the opportunity to benefit from the program and participate in utilizing the opportunities arising from the project’s implementation in various sectors,” the Prime Minister noted.
