American Reconnaissance Drone Sighted Near Iran Border: Reports
The American Northrop Grumman MQ-4C Triton reconnaissance drone has been spotted near the Iran border, according to reports by RIA Novosti, citing Flightradar24.
According to the agency, the unmanned aerial vehicle operated by the U.S. Navy took off from a U.S. military base in the UAE and entered the airspace of the Persian Gulf. Subsequently, the drone flew towards the Gulf of Oman before turning back.
At approximately the same time, a Lockheed C-130J Hercules transport aircraft took off from a base in Qatar.
