Lake Sevan's Level 15 cm Lower Than Same Day Last Year
The Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center reports that the water level of Lake Sevan rose by 1 cm between December 29, 2025, and January 4, 2026, reaching 1900.23 m as of January 4, 2026. This level is 15 cm lower than the same day last year, but 1 cm higher than the level recorded on January 1, 2026.
During the period from December 29, 2025, to January 4, 2026, a total of 1.072 million cubic meters of water was transferred to Lake Sevan through the Arpa-Sevan canal. Specifically, between January 1 and January 4, 2026, 0.610 million cubic meters were transferred.
