Rescue Workers Assist Close to 100 Individuals in 24 Hours: Ministry of Emergency Situations
Due to heavy snowfall, starting from December 27, the rescue units, under the directive of the Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations, have been conducting reinforced service across the country's roadways.
The rescue units have actively collaborated with the Police Patrol Service, representatives of local self-government, and employees of the 'Roads of Armenia' organization.
From 08:00 on December 27 to 08:00 on December 28, the National and Regional Emergency Management Centers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received reports regarding blockages of vehicles caused by heavy snowfall. As a result of tours and duty assignments, the rescue units promptly responded to the situation, managing to free 47 vehicles from blockages and render assistance to 92 individuals.
