Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to Attend Divine Liturgy in Garni Today
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will participate in the Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Holy Mother of God in Garni today. It should be noted that Prime Minister Pashinyan previously shared a video on Facebook announcing his attendance at the Divine Liturgy on December 28 at the same church.
“Here, my expectation is that the name of Ktrich Nersisyan will not be mentioned during the liturgy, based on justifiable reasons previously provided. Incidentally, there are individuals who say that when they attend services in different churches and hear Ktrich Nersisyan's name mentioned, they feel compelled to express their objections at that moment. Is such behavior permissible? I believe it is both possible and permissible, as it is a legitimate expectation for those who have declared themselves as noble individuals abiding by particular rules, yet fail to do so and do not intend to confront this reality. We, followers of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church, must not only shape our attitude regarding this matter but also express that attitude and, ultimately, achieve practical results stemming from it,” he stated.
