Drone Shot Down Over Turkey
Turkey has detected and shot down a drone over the Black Sea. The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced this on its X social media page.
The ministry stated that military personnel identified an 'aerial target approaching Turkish airspace' over the Black Sea. They monitored it using a NATO-provided F-16 fighter jet.
The object was later identified as an out-of-control drone. 'To avoid negative consequences, it was shot down in a safe area away from residential zones,' the ministry stated.
