Turkey to Ensure Gas Supply Route for Hungary from Russia: Orban
The Turkish side will ensure the route through which Hungary can receive gas from Russia, stated Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban after talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Istanbul. According to him, by 2025, Budapest has already received 7.5 billion cubic meters of gas via the Turkish Stream pipeline.
Orban also informed that they discussed the resolution of the conflict in Ukraine with Erdogan. He praised the Turkish president's contribution to that process, stating that Erdogan is the only successful mediator in this matter.
