Yes, Peace Has Been Established Between Armenia and Azerbaijan: Pashinyan
The main issue for the year 2026 is that the people of Armenia must safeguard peace during the elections. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during the discussion of the final version of the 2026 state budget at the National Assembly meeting on December 3.
Pashinyan noted that there is optimism regarding the upcoming parliamentary elections. “I reiterate: yes, peace has been established between Armenia and Azerbaijan. I have no doubt that the people of Armenia will stand for peace because it is not someone else's peace; it is their own peace, the peace of their children, family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. This is a profound tribute to all the martyrs and to all our pasts, regardless of when those sacrifices and losses occurred in our history,” the Prime Minister concluded his remarks.
