10-20% Salary Increase at Electricity Networks of Armenia: Romanos Petrosyan
During a discussion with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, the interim head of Armenia's Electricity Networks, Romanos Petrosyan, spoke about the company’s financial situation. He noted that the leadership initially declined bonuses, resulting in savings of several tens of millions of drams.
According to Petrosyan, additional compensations have been established at the Electricity Networks since his appointment. In particular, employees earning up to 200,000 drams have received a 20,000 dram bonus through a separate management order.
He emphasized that for those with lower salaries, there has been a salary increase of 10-20%, and this process is ongoing. Petrosyan reported that of the approximately 6,800 employees at the Electricity Networks, half earn less than 300,000 drams, including 1,700 employees whose income does not exceed 200,000 drams. He mentioned that this group receives an additional one-time 20,000 dram compensation monthly.
